My training as a product designer at the Applied Arts school in Paris and my years of creation in the Interior Environment Agency have joined my need for work directly with the material (clay, metal, wood) in 2014. It is the combination of these experiences that gradually led me to raise the
challenge to create larger volumes of ceramic then open my singing the practical introduction of new methods for the production and use of different
materials (turning, modelling, casting...).
In 2023, I started a project to manufacture small ceramic furniture. In order to develop this project and acquire the necessary skills, I spent two months in artist residency at the Faenza Ceramic art Center (https://www.facc-art.it/ ) in Italy. I acquired technical expertise on the spot thanks to advice given by professional designers, ceramic artists and teachers.
I continued to benefit from this training, continuing research and production of other ceramic pieces, one of which is on display in the gallery. ArtLab (https://www.facebook.com/artlab341/?_rdr ) in Knowlton (see photo) contacts and exchanges with my peers and gallery clients lead me to
to continue my research into exploring other techniques of realization and of expression. I want to be able to achieve a higher level of quality and finish . In this context, after my next residence in Italy for 3 months in Faenza (2024) to deepen my )knowledge of porcelain and its wish to work on glaze research and realisation using Molde, mini serie ….
